Circadian Clock by Dan Taylor
I stumbled across this great piece of design yesterday; the Circadian Clock by Dan Taylor.
You see attempts to try and reinvent the way we tell time every once in a while, but this one makes sense more than most.
The simple use of contrasting colours negates the fact the clock only has one hand - not a brand new invention, granted, but there's something impressive about the clean way Taylor's piece presents it. I think maybe it is the suggestion of light and shadow it employs, connoting the pre-historic use of sundials.
Or maybe it just looks nice. Probably the latter.
Dan Taylor is the creator and has showcased a few pieces of minimalist products which you can see on his Bēhance page.
