Expect lots of wordy things - independent magazines primarily - with plenty of reportage photography and great bits of design. There will also be occasional pieces of written reportage stories. It all comes down to time.

Atmospheric Photography From France

A Paris based photographer, Thibault Bunoust, has released these extremely atmospheric shots of the French countryside.

Taken at different times of the day, capturing the mist and rising or setting sun, these landscapes feature one lone figure. Bunoust is usually known for vivid portraits, filled with explosive colour.

But these landscape shots take a different route to capturing a person. Centring his subject inside wide, dramatic landscapes, this project (titled Lost Series) expresses how alone and, well, lost a person can end up in the world.

A personal favourite is the first shot, Rise, which features a man dressed for the office, seemingly transported into the peaceful wilderness right when he should be getting ready for another day in the office.

Moody. But great.
